Oxnard College men's basketball earned a much-needed 83–72 victory over Los Angeles City College on Saturday afternoon, improving to 3–7 on the season. The Condors took control early with a strong first half, leading 45–38 at the break, and never looked back. Player of the Game honors went to Carter Reid, who delivered a dominant performance with 21 points and 9 rebounds on an efficient 8-for-12 shooting.
Oxnard showcased balanced scoring across the lineup, with Blake Jones adding 19 points, Jose Valdovinos knocking down four three-pointers for 14 points, and Ruben Jimenez posting 13 points and 7 assists. The Condors shot nearly 50% from the field and forced key turnovers down the stretch to secure the win and build momentum moving forward.
