The Oxnard College Women’s Basketball team put together one of its most complete performances of the season on Wednesday night, defeating the Cerritos Falcons 58–42 at home. With the win, the Condors improve to 4–4 overall, continuing to build momentum.

Oxnard came out sharp on both ends of the floor, winning the first quarter 19–14 before delivering its strongest stretch of the night with a dominant 23-point second quarter. The Condors entered halftime with a commanding 42–24 lead and never looked back.
Balanced Attack Leads the Way
The Condors showcased exceptional efficiency, shooting 50% from the field (25-50) and nearly 43% from three-point range. Five players recorded six or more points, and four starters reached double figures:

Sofia Mora led all scorers with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting, adding six rebounds.

Isabell Moreno posted a strong double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Rosalin Moreno added 13 points, four steals, and three assists while controlling tempo on both ends.

Alyssa Galelayah-Tapia delivered an ultra-efficient 12 points (5-for-6 FG) with five rebounds and three assists.
Oxnard also won the rebounding battle decisively, 35–26, while holding Cerritos to just 28% shooting and only 7 points in the fourth quarter as the Condor defense tightened to close out the game.
