Bio

Mia Blair – Assistant Softball Coach, Oxnard College

Mia Blair is a Santa Paula, California native whose love for softball began at the age of five. A 2020 graduate of Santa Paula High School, Blair enjoyed an outstanding high school career as a four-year varsity starter. During her time with the Cardinals, she earned numerous accolades, including First Team All-League, First Team All-CIF, Co-Pitcher of the Year, and First Team All-County honors, establishing herself as one of the top pitchers in the region.

Following high school, Blair continued her academic and athletic journey at Morningside University, where she competed on an academic and athletic scholarship for a nationally ranked Top-10 NAIA program. After two seasons and earning her minor in psychology, she transferred to Pacific University, where she played an additional year of collegiate softball.

After returning home to Santa Paula, Blair transitioned from player to coach, continuing her passion for the game through service and mentorship. She has served as an assistant coach at Santa Paula High School, worked with multiple travel ball programs, and provided private one-on-one pitching instruction. Her commitment to player development, combined with her competitive experience, makes her a valuable addition to the Oxnard College softball coaching staff.
