The Condors dropped a 6-4 decision at LA Valley on Saturday

LA Valley
Oxnard Softball lost 6-4 pm Saturday afternoon to the LA Valley Monarchs.
OC looked rusty through the first five innings, falling behind 6-0 before rallying in the in the sixth.
Miranda Guerrero (1-3, 2 RBI-6 innings, 5 ER) helped her own cause by singling in two runs in the top of the sixth inning, with Micaela Barrera-Herron (2-4, 1R) and Giselle Roldan scoring. Oxnard managed two more runs in the top of the seventh inning, highlighted by a home run off the bat of Roldan (1-4, 2R, HR).
Yoalli Parrilla was 1-1 with two walks, and Destiny Murillo added a RBI.
The Condors will have a chance to level their 2-game series with the Monarchs on Tuesday afternoon, in the Condors Nest at 2:30. They return to WSC play at Ventura College on Thursday at 2:30, and will host LA Mission College Friday at 1:00.
